About the Program

Volunteer-Run Racing

Every race at RCYC is run by volunteer race committee members. The club maintains dedicated race committee boats, a full complement of marks, and timing equipment for all fleet starts. Race management is one of the most important volunteer roles at the club.

Members interested in serving on the race committee or protest committee should contact the Vice Commodore of Race. US Sailing race management training and certification is encouraged and supported by the club.
