About the Program
Experience Education at Its Best
A hands-on, weekday program that brings learning to life for homeschool students. Sessions run on the water at Rush Creek with certified coaches in small groups, and all boats, life jackets, and equipment are provided.
Students build confidence and independence while learning sailing fundamentals, water safety, teamwork, and problem solving, reinforcing academic concepts in math, science, weather, and physics through real-world experience on the water.

Choose one or two weekday sessions per week, three hours per day. Contact the education team for the current weekday schedule and start dates.
What Students Take Away
Sailing Fundamentals
Rigging, steering, sail trim, and boat handling. By the end of a session students can rig, launch, and sail with confidence.
Water Safety
Life jackets, capsize recovery, right of way, and reading conditions before leaving the dock. Safety is taught first and reinforced every day.
Teamwork & Problem Solving
Communication on the water is immediate and honest. Students learn to make decisions together and adapt when conditions change.
Academics in Action
Math, science, weather, and physics reinforced through real-world experience. Every tack is a live experiment in wind, force, and motion.
